TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
Contract of Hire
The Hiring Contract shall be between The Hirer and The Owners of Cobweb Cottage. The booking shall be deemed to be made subject to these Conditions of Hire.
The Contract of Hire is not effective until The Hirer receives a written confirmation of booking.
Initial Payment
Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by The Owners of the required deposit payment, £50, and the signed
booking form. If, however, the booking is made within 6 weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full amount of rental
and security deposit will be required on booking.
Security Deposit
A returnable deposit of £50 is required, to be paid with the balance of the rental. This is to be held by The Owners as security against return of the keys, inventory damage, etc. The deposit will be returned to the Hirer, subject to a satisfactory inspection by the Owners representatives.

Dogs - damage to furniture, fixtures and fittings and soiling of the property will result in loss of some
or all of the deposit at the owner's discretion

If replacement
or repair costs exceed the deposit further action will be taken to recover the excess.
Balance Payment
The balance of hire will be due 6 weeks before the holiday commencement date. The Owner reserves the right
to cancel the holiday where full payment has not been received 4 weeks prior to the holiday commencement date.
Confirmation of Booking
Once the Owners have issued a confirmation, the Hirer is responsible for the total monies due as shown on
the confirmation document.
Cancellations
Provided the Owners receive written notice of cancellation not less than 6 weeks before the holiday commencement
date, the Hirer will not be required to pay the full balance. The amount of the
deposit will, however, be forfeit. If cancellation is within 6 weeks of the Holiday commencement date, the Hirer will be liable to pay the full balance of hire unless the owners
are successful in reletting the holiday. All cancellations must be notified in
writing at the earliest opportunity.
Party Size
Under no circumstances may more than the number of persons staying
at Cobweb Cottage exceed the number on the original booking order and confirmation form. The owners reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed.
Hirers Responsibility
During the holiday, the hirer is responsible for the property and must take reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc. must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.
